Corfe’s near my home town, had a primary school trip there which was great, and would have been even better if it hadn’t been wet and cold that day! Never seen the castle from this angle before though. Corfe’s on a hill that’s between two taller hills, (one of these being where the picture was taken from) a tactical mistake as the reason it’s a ruin now is that Cromwell went up onto the two taller hills that bracket it, and bombarded it into submission :(
