Beautiful streets in Castellar de la Frontera, Andalusia, Spain (by Lui G. Marín).
La Geria wine district on the lava fields of Lanzarote Island, Spain (by de kist).
I’ve seen these. Lanzarote is pretty amazing for how resourceful it is. This is an island with NO water. They get about 3 weeks rain a year, and there’s not even the tiniest stream or pond on the island.
So they build these mini craters in the volcanic rubble and plant vines in them. So that the condensation that forms at dew point each morning, trickles down the sides and waters the plants, pretty ingenious :)
Corfe Castle, England, UK
Every time I see a picture of corfe I get this little jolt, just because it’s somewhere that I know and recognise. A little banner goes up in my brain with, “I’ve been there!” on it. I miss my home county very much.

I hope sometimes you feel a grip on your stomach
second guess yourself
worry that you’re doing it wrong
i hope you hesitate to hit send
i hope you read my words fifteen times
and strategize your reaction
i hope once in a while you shake
just a little
that means i’m not alone
